TaylorMade’s new carbon-faced driver transfers more energy from the golfer to the ball. And as Dustin Johnson, Collin Morikawa, and Maria Fassi demonstrate, more energy = more fun.

Stealth Launch
TaylorMade has been creating some of the best golf equipment in the game since 1979, so our focus as an agency has been to elevate the storytelling they release annually. Here are some of our favorite examples of the work we've made over the years.
Ever since the big bang, carbon has been one of the most powerful elements in the universe. Now, 13.7 billion years later, carbon is being used for the first time to make a more powerful driver face and the results are surprising, even to Rory McIlory.

GREEN LIGHT
TaylorMade’s SIM2 driver was designed to give golfers a benefit that players of every level want and need – forgiveness. It’s what helps keep your ball on the fairway or green and out of the rough… or the woods. So, for the launch of the driver we wanted to show how golfers no longer need to play it safe when they step onto a tee box. We came up with the idea of the driver serving as a “green light” for golfers who, in the past, may have decided to reach for a long iron or their 3-wood on a daunting hole. The spot features a range of golfers from Pros like Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson to a couple amateurs who also benefit from SIM2’s high level of forgiveness.
ASK THE EXPERTS
If you got a chance to ask Rory McIlroy anything you wanted, what would you ask him? TaylorMade and Dicks Sporting Goods partnered to ask Rory our most pressing questions.
