When icons of the holidays were looking for a place to warm up—and be together—we created a brand platform that could grow with the brand and brought it to life through a series of whimsical ads.

A blow-up snowman peeking through a fence at a family enjoying a fire. A penguin taking a ride on a robot vacuum. Nutcrackers escaping the mall and Santa Claus hopping a bus for something better. For our debut work with growing backyard brand Solo Stove, familiar characters put a unique spin on holiday advertising and create a starting point for the Zambezi-created brand platform: Solo Together.

Designed to be used in many places and ways and to expand across Solo Stove’s ever-evolving product line, Solo Together is a simple construct—bringing people together—with plenty of room to tell stories about why the Solo Stove is more than a fire pit.

First appearing in the broadcast of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Solo Together campaign extended into social media, influencers and the brand’s holiday gift guide. The three-spot series features a holiday snowman and deer pondering the speed of a Solo Pi Pizza Oven, singers in a tabletop holiday scene pining for roasted marshmallows from a Solo Mesa Tabletop fire pit, and all together, convey the comfort people feel in front of a Solo Stove.
